Walking distance from Sigiriya rock. Very green and lush property, lots of plants around has a small pool in the middle. Local eating places provide decent food. Excellent breakfast. Both Manju and Namidu were great hosts. Good value for money. Big bedrooms and bathroom. Two double beds.

Located in Sigiriya, 3 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Cottage provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very clean room, fab shower, lovely garden environment creating a very relaxed and chilled out place to stay. Really good AC, but also a quiet fan if you don’t like sleeping with AC on or find it too harsh. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.

Set in Sigiriya, 3.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cottage Sigiriya offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Located in Dambulla, 17 km from Sigiriya Rock, Black Mustang Hotel provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Dilshan was fantastic with helping with anything I needed from dinner to getting a tuk tuk. It's away from the main road which means it's quiet and relaxed but also only a 3min tuk tuk ride away. AC was great!

In the middle of a jungle so close to nature with so many butterflies. Stuff are so cool and kind, will help you in anything. Rooms are clean and comfy. Good breakfast also. Located in Sigiriya, within 2.8 km of Sigiriya Rock and 5.9 km of Pidurangala Rock, Panoramic Royal Villa provides accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who... The owner is very kind and helpfull. The view is outstanding, you can see the rice fields and the Lion rock from the terrace. Also there is a lake where you can walk or chill on the big terrace or garden in front of your room. At night you can hear the soothing animal noises. The rooms are very clean and big.

We loved the outdoor spaces, the pool and the jacuzzi as well as the food they offer! amazing place to stay if you're visiting Sigiriya and doing a safari tour. Manolo was very helpful and helped us get tuk tuk rides and made our stay very easy!

The room is spacious and well maintained! you feel like you’re living the Sri Lankan life by staying with this amazing family! The food prepared by the housewife was delicious and portions were very generous! I would totally come back here :)
