Both Manju and Namidu were great hosts. Good value for money. Big bedrooms and bathroom. Two double beds.

Very clean room, fab shower, lovely garden environment creating a very relaxed and chilled out place to stay. Really good AC, but also a quiet fan if you don’t like sleeping with AC on or find it too harsh. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.

On a month long trip to Sri Lanka, filled with beautiful places and accommodations - the Cottage holds a special place in my heart. We spent two amazing days here, and later in our trip we decided to go back for 5 more. From the kindness of the staff, the excellent hospitality, the pool that was somehow always the right temperature, the location in nature and all of the life that surrounds it - we had a perfect stay. The gentleman that cares for the plants, pool and grounds works all day making sure the place looks great and the pool is always clean. The chef makes great food, and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The location is a short bike ride from town, or if you have your own tuktuk as we did it’s about a 5 minute ride. It’s in the midst of the jungle. In our days there we had encounters with every type of bird in Sri Lanka. Monkeys of all varieties. Even Elephants. The near by lake, which you will drive by the signed path to, is a must at sunrise. Walking further down the road into the farmers fields (stay on the road, don’t walk on their crops) will yield incredible sunsets with peacocks calling in the background and a clear view of lions rock. Bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. We will most certainly return here in the future and highly recommend it to others. There is more to see in Sigiriya than you think, and a couple of days at the cottage is a great base to explore and relax. Mama, the local dog running around is very sweet. If you’re a dog loving traveler as I am - take care of her and show her some love. She’ll keep the monkeys off your tuktuk 😉

Black Mustang Hotel se encuentra en Dambulla, a 17 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Las vistas son agradables desde la habitación ya que está en medio del bosque y no hay edificios delante.

Pool is just so nice and relaxing. In the middle of a jungle so close to nature with so many butterflies. Stuff are so cool and kind, will help you in anything. Rooms are clean and comfy. Panoramic Royal Villa se encuentra en Sigiriya, a 2,8 km de Yacimiento arqueológico de Sigiriya y a 5,9 km de Pidurangala Rock. Ofrece alojamiento con terraza y parking privado gratis. The owner is very kind and helpfull. The view is outstanding, you can see the rice fields and the Lion rock from the terrace. Also there is a lake where you can walk or chill on the big terrace or garden in front of your room. At night you can hear the soothing animal noises. The rooms are very clean and big.

Sat Nam Village Eco-Hotel está en Sigiriya, a 10 km de Pidurangala Rock, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y jardín. We loved the outdoor spaces, the pool and the jacuzzi as well as the food they offer! amazing place to stay if you're visiting Sigiriya and doing a safari tour. Manolo was very helpful and helped us get tuk tuk rides and made our stay very easy!

The host is extremely welcoming and accommodating! The room is spacious and well maintained! you feel like you’re living the Sri Lankan life by staying with this amazing family! The food prepared by the housewife was delicious and portions were very generous! I would totally come back here :)

El Evergreen está a 5 km del Templo de la Cueva de Dambulla y a 10 km del yacimiento arqueológico Sigiriya. We really like the hospitality of the host! The hotel is located in such a nice nature, surrounded by some fields.

This place is Sigiriya's hidden gem! With the best view of Sigiriya Rock, it's peaceful yet super close to everything. The real bonus? The owner and his family are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. One night, we ended up singing and chatting with other guests, which was a blast. And breakfast with a view on the top floor? Absolutely breathtaking.
