You get to watch the sun rise from bed and can enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace. The staff were so accommodating and helpful especially when we were having issues communicating with our Tuk tuk driver. There’s a restaurant on site which is perfect after a long day of touring. The hotel is far enough from the city where it’s calm and quiet but still accessible by tuk tuk just factor in some time if you are trying to get to the train station. The room was so well kept and clean. Breakfast was also amazing, super tasty and you have a choice of options you’d like. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I absolutely recommend staying in when you are in Kandy.

Very good location, great view from the balcony to the lake and there was a Mango tree just next to our balcony, on which Flying foxes were dining at nights! Unforgettable!!! Great local food in the restaurant!!! Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and me spent 9 days at the Kandy Unique Hotel: we walked in the mountains, through tea plantations, and visited temples. We used to have 1 hour walks to the city center and returned to the hotel by tuk-tuk. The mountain view from the hotel terrace is magnificent, especially at sunset. Very friendly staff. Many thanks to Vishwa for delicious breakfasts and dinners. We had dinner 7 times and every time it was something new! Our opinion of Sri Lankan cuisine has grown even more
