Located in Colombo, 200 metres from Kollupitiya Beach, Sofia Colombo City Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel is so beautiful, the rooftop pool is incredible and the storm and sunset watching from there was great. The staff are so attentive and helpful. There were plenty of choices at breakfast and the food was great. It was a shame the alcohol license hadn't yet been approved but it was an easy walk to the shop to get a few beers. There is also a great ice cream shop over the road. It was about a 30 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride to the Galle Face Green, which was lovely in the evening.
