Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Unique rooms, modern decor, 5 star amenities, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay so much, we decided to stay a 4th night! Everyone was super kind and friendly, especially Roberta!

Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. If you wanna experience Matera at its best, this is the best location. The room’s architecture and the city’s view make you feel like you are in a magical place. Actually, you really are in a magical place. We had to leave early in the morning and on our way to the station we could enjoy the awaken city: birds were singing and lights were changing the old town’s nocturnal imagine. (see pic.) The host was really kind and explained us the best locations to eat and enjoy the city’s view. As promised, I’ll come back with my friends a few times more because you can’t get enough from only one visit.

Very typical hotel It screams luxury The breakfast is exceptional. I travel a lot and it was one of the best you could find when traveling. The staff was very kind and helpful .

Set 700 metres from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Hotel Casino Ridola offers a swimming pool and free parking with video surveillance. WiFi is free in all rooms. A lovely little hotel, beautifully appointed with excellent, attentive staff. It has private parking but is only a 10 minute walk from the sights in Matera. It also has a small swimming pool.

Location near the highway which was convenient for us transiting to Potenza.
