Great room with fresco artwork. very clean and large. Paola the owner was extremely helpful and provided transportation for us to Isola Maggiore and to Assisi. He is very knowledgeable about the area and history. A jolly host. All the other staff were friendly and kind.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. Everything clean, everything well kept and attention to details around the property. From the pool you can see the surrounding hills and the Trasimeno lake. Excellent coffee and breakfast. Very kind staff. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the area. You will regret for not staying longer :).

This boutique, family-run hotel is situated in the beautiful ancient center of Castiglione del Lago, a charming, picturesque village on Trasimeno Lake, in a lush, green part of Umbria. The hosts were fantastic! Parking was free... and easy, once you knew how (& Roberto was so helpful in this regard). Nothing was a problem.... even a fan was arranged for an unusually hot day/night. Breakfast was soooo good. The room & beds were larger than normal & the bathroom brilliantly renovated. The location is perfect. Great value for money & VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nastanitev Isola Polvese Resort se nahaja v mestu Castiglione del Lago, 28 km od znamenitosti Perugia Cathedral, in ponuja storitve concierge, sobe za alergike, vrt, brezplačen WiFi ter bar. We had a lovely stay at the Polvese resort. The atmosphere on the island was quiet and relaxing, we visited the beach and walked around. The stuff was super friendly, spoke English, and the suite we stayed in was adequate for a family of 2 adults, and 2 little children. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast is very good, we chose to eat outside in the shade, it was great. You can park your car on the street or on the large public parking near the ferry for free. The ferry ride to the island takes about 12 minutes, the cost is 4.20 euro per adult. Bear in mind that the last ferry from San Feliciano leaves at 19:00

Located in a peaceful location the historical centre of Passignano Sul Trasimeno, Hotel Trasimeno offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a balcony. Passignano Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. The owners are so nice! I really liked them. The hotel is a great price and location, across the road from the lake and near all he restaurants and bars. Thank you!

The welcome from all the staff on arrival was absolutely 100% after a weary journey from Ireland by air and train/taxi… the owner/principal (Bruno) was excellent with plenty of advice and assistance with getting into nearby Passignano sul Trasimeno… we will be forever thankful to Hotel Kursaal for making our stay in Italy very memorable and fulfilling!
