The huge room was beautifully refurbished with very comfortable beds. The owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We ate at the restaurant which was excellent and cannot think of a better place to explore Tuscany from. Highly recommend staying at Albergo Diffuso Borgo Santo.

Great Hotel with amazing breakfast. Service was really courteous, we could even store our bikes in a separate room. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Piccolo Hotel San Valentino is set in the Tuscany countryside of Asciano. It offers air-conditioned rooms and a buffet breakfast with homemade cakes and traditional salamis. Piccolo Hotel San Valentino is set on top of a hill in the middle of the fairytale Val d'Orcia. Among cypress trees, olive groves and crete senesi. The Abbey of San Oliveto Maggiore is about a kilometre away. The hotel has a restaurant, but it closes in the evening, so it's completely quiet at night - the nearest village is several kilometres away. For breakfast we got everything we wanted: there was sheep's cheese, all sorts of spreads, yoghurts, prosciutto if you wanted it and several types of pastries. The room was not large but comfortable, the wi-fi worked, there are mosquito nets on the windows - although there are not many around the hotel, and the room is air-conditioned. We were able to visit a classical music festival in nearby Asciano. And of course all the staff were extremely friendly and willing to help.
