Hótel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. We stayed there only few hours at night before our flight, so there is not much I can say about the hotel. It was quiet and clean there, so we could have our rest. It is sad I didn‘t know we could ask to prepare us a breakfast box, if we arrived earlier or if I had sent a request some time before. Hotel offers an opportunity to check in and out 24/7. There is a big parking place in front of the hotel. Hostess was very kind and ready to help and to give an advice

Located in the coastal town of Mosfellsbaer, this hotel is just off Iceland’s scenic Ring Road. Central Reykjavik is 10 minutes’ drive away. Both Wi-Fi and on-site private parking are free. A nice and clean room, 15 minutes by car from the city.

This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. The staff is amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very cozy. Bathrooms the same. Small, but good enough. Location is perfect. Breakfast was quite extensive.

The house itself was clean, comfortable !!!! We really advice it for staying in Iceland.
