Hótel Vellir is a 3-star property situated on the outskirts of the capital city and only 36 km from the airport. A very functional hotel for those who need parking on the way from one place to another (what we were needed). Hotel Laxnes exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was stunning, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the bar was amazing with friendly staff. Plus, the entertainment options like watching football on a big screen and playing darts and pool made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. we stayed in a cabin. Each cabin had a name - ours was Thor! We had a great dinner at the restaurant and the included breakfast was generous and really good.

Located in Álftanes, a 15-minute drive from central Reykjavík, Eyvindarholt Guesthouse features bright and modern accommodation with free WiFi, scenic views, as well as Icelandic art and design. Really quiet and cozy place with a very nice host! We loved our stay here and wish we did it for more than one night. Will stay here again without a doubt!

Lovely area centrally located to shops, restsurants and alk your needs while staying around Reykjavik. The apartment had modern decor, including ultra comfy bed. Peace and quiet. Plenty of parking, lovely owners. Totally hidden gem. Highly recommend.
