This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Centrally located to all the things around Mývatn Lake. Nice staff. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious.

This was the best hotel we stayed in Iceland. The free amenities (Sauna, Hot tub, pool billiard, bathrobe, flip flops, etc.) and the free breakfast were just great. The room was modern and spacious. The northern lights wake up call is a wonderful free service (we didn't have any luck though). The location is incredible across from a volcano walking trail. Seriously, we were so excited when we saw what the hotel offers for such little money (in March). Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you!

Situato a 2,6 km dai Bagni Naturali di Myvatn, il Birkilauf a Myvatn offre numerosi servizi, tra cui la vista sul lago e sulle montagne. If I could give more than 10, I would happily do it. It was a fantastic apartment. I was a bit hesitant about shared kitchen initially. But it was absolutely fine. It was huge and exceptionally clean, had loads of utensils and cooking equipment. A full size dishwasher. So they have set up the kitchen in a way that multiple people can cook same time. They also come every morning to clean and reset the kitchen. They also give free supplies like breads, tomato, butter, oils etc. Washing machine came in very handy as this was day 7 of our Iceland trip when we stayed in Birkilauf. Rooms are very nice, neat and clean. Bathroom also looks newly done up Location is very close to all main areas like Hverir geothermal, Hverfjall Volcano and Dimmuborgir and lake Myvatn. Overall everything was great. Highly recommend.

Situated in Myvatn and only 6.5 km from Myvatn Nature Baths, Slow Travel Mývatn - Þúfa - Private Homestay features accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.
