Refrigerator in room and excellent working a/c are definitely appreciated. Good hygiene. Above all, I feel safe

Location of the hotel is probably the best in Pondichery- in the center of French quarter(cleaner, more stylish eating, shopping and coffee places quarter) and within walkable distance from the beach. There are only 6 rooms in the property, therefore you get privacy and for example pool area was only for us :) The food was also great (we had breakfast and dinner there) and the surrounding highly contributes having any dining experience here. The other gem of this boutique hotel is its Personnel: they take extra mile in order to full fill your request and make you feel exceptional. By the way we also stayed 1 night in Villa Shanti and both these locations (La Villa & Villa Shanti) are a little bit different ( to some extent) however both are highly recommended for staying in Pondicherry.

STAFFS : Special thanks to Mr Adrien, Mr Kalay , Ms Yoshita , the GM Mr Dino, the restaurant staffs . You all made our stay amazing and made us felt at home. ❤️ From day 1, all the staffs were so kind, always smiling and willing to go extra miles. ROOM : The room was spacious, clean and had all the required amneties ( TV with local and international channels ,mini bar , hair dryer, water , fruits , fan , AC , Shampoo , Moisturiser, dental kit , hot water, Iron on request etc..) BED : One of the most comfortable bed we had. We slept so well . If we had more days, we would extend our stay just to spend our day in bed . POOL : Clean, beautiful and so relaxing. FOOD : Fresh and tasty food. We still talked about that " mushroom sandwich " during our breakfast time at home. LOCATION : Lively street close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and tourist places. You can easily find rickshaw and there is a starbucks next to the hotel . We will consider the other CGH hotels for our other vacays !!
