This country house hotel has a quiet location, looking out over the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. It has free parking, luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant. The location was perfect and the staff very friendly. We had good food (dinner the first night and breakfast both mornings were all great). The bonus was getting to tour the private castle on site. Location (close to the Cliffs of Moher for a day of hiking) was perfect.

The staff is very kind and professional. Housekeeping is top. Perfectly clean rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfast is fabulous, all choices are delicious. Hotel restaurants are among the best in Ennis. Hotel is right at the town center, best choice for a nice stay. I have been guest at the hotel many times, since more than 10 years, it never disappointed. With its old and authentic look, the nice sitting areas at the lobby, make one feel like home.
