The family-run Westenra Arms Hotel is located in the heart of Monaghan Town. It offers free Wi-Fi, luxurious rooms with garden views and 2 restaurants serving award-winning food. This was an amazing hotel! Perfect location for our needs, right in town and next door to a fantastic pub "The Squealing Pig" where our event was taking place and not far from our family gathering in Rockcorry. (BTW the Squealing Pig was very accomodating to our very Vegan daughter and her infant son); The staff at the hotel was pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast was fantastic with a full menu of options The town has a nice mall and shopping options; we had our laundry done down the street and back the same day if you get it there early. The Monaghan Museum was fantastic (they are moving to a new location down the street. The restaurants were great and we especially were impressed with 'Eastern Balti House' with the best service and great food!

Amid the hills and lakes of Monaghan, this modern 4-star hotel has plenty of leisure facilities, a relaxing spa and the opportunity for outdoor activities. Lovely place. The lady working the desk at the spa (Tara?) was fantastic! We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t report on that.

Just 1km from the centre of Monaghan Town, this elegant hotel has award-winning leisure facilities, free Wi-Fi and a friendly welcome. Staff was helpful to heat out leftover dinner since there was no microwave in the room.

Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. We adored our stay wit Elizabeth, she is such a kind and welcoming person. Our daughter Eloïse enjoyed the music instruments. That was really a big bonus for her/us! The breakfast is exceptionally good, fresh prepared and a a lot of variety. The surrounding of Monaghan were great. We enjoyed the Giants Park , much to see and do. We would definitely come back.
