The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Everything about the hotel was fab, we arrived to the genuinely welcoming smile of front receptionist Nina, an absolute pleasure to deal with, helpful informative and just lovely. The room was great, we had breakfast delivered and it was scrumptious. On leaving we met Jonathan, again a fantastic representative funny and extremely helpful. We'll be visiting again thats for sure!!

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. It was very modern, although maintaining old fashion personal accommodations. Well located and reasonably priced.

The 3-star Abbeyleix Manor Hotel offers a relaxing and ideal base to explore the hidden beauties of County Laois and the Midlands of Ireland. Staff. First morning housekeeping stopped at room to ask if they could bring us anything.

The Heritage offers 4-star accommodation in Killenard. Set within private gardens, guests may enjoy the on-site features including a leisure centre, award-winning spa, and on-site bars and... Everything about the stay was perfect - the experience was excellent from Check-in, food service to Spa Facility we were met with the same excellent service standard, where nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs during the stay. The location is super convenient to M7 would highly recommend and I will definitely return.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. It was conveniently located off the main highway.

Located in Mountmellick and only 22 km from Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre, Summergrove House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was freshly prepared with local produce and served on beautiful crockery. The beautiful Georgian house is in the most tranquil setting.

The Yoke has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Ballybrittas, 16 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. Very friendly welcome from the owner, big bathroom and lovely room…there was Porridge, Croissants and fruits in the room for breakfast. Really a good place to stay and close to Dublin.

Offering a garden and garden view, Kearney's Cottage B&B is located in Killenard, 18 km from Kildare Town Heritage Centre and 23 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum. The loveliest B&B with the nicest most welcoming family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Set 31 km from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 34 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, Preston House features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. The house was very spacious and charming. It feels magical in there.

Offering a garden and garden view, LittleField B&B Durrow, Laois is situated in Durrow, 28 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 29 km from Kilkenny Castle. Loved the place, good price and modern rooms.
