Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. Loved everything the room was spotless, beds were so comfortable and the pillows so soft we had a great sleep. The food was beautiful and service quick. Breakfast selfservice and excellent The rooms were off in sections and you could here a pin drop it was so quiet tg that's what I love. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way. Wonderful relaxing break away. Deffs recommend and look forward to staying again. at some point Lovely grounds to walk around also.

With elegant décor, the rooms at the Talbot Hotel Carlow have en-suite bathrooms with deluxe toiletries and fluffy towels. Rooms also feature TVs, free Wi-Fi and a 24 hour room service menu. Staff in Reception, bar and bistro were immaculate dressed, very efficient and so friendly. Will definitely stay again.

In the centre of Carlow town, Dinn Ri Hotel features boutique rooms, an on-site nightclub and live band venue, and an outdoor terraced bar. The stylish sports bar includes three 48-inch plasma TVs. Location was great, room was excellent with lovely products. it was very clean. The staff were lovely.

In the Heritage Village of Leighlinbridge, just 10 minutes from Carlow and 20 minutes from Kilkenny off the N9, the Lord Bagenal has been renowned for award-winning food and wine. Everything was exceptional. Huge room and huge bathroom, great views. Lovely friendly staff. Fabulous evening and food in the pub followed by the best breakfast ever the next morning. The breakfast range and quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Wow, just wow! Thank you and we'll be back again I hope!

Boasting free bikes and a garden, Corriebeg Cottage provides accommodation in an isolated countryside area, 10 km outside of Boris, with free WiFi and mountain views. We had a wonderful stay at Mim and Janie's cottage. They were very friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed chatting with them about life and their horses. The cottage was incredibly clean and cozy and the bathroom was modern. We really enjoyed the warm breakfast they brought in the morning. The grounds of the cottage were beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the scenery. A lovely stay all around! Thank you so much Mim and Janie for a wonderful stay. Love, Octav and Elena.
