You can arrange/discuss all your travels and activities with him via WhatsApp prior. And his wife is a great cook! This is a unique opportunity you will be lucky to have. It’s a homestay (not some bland hotel experience) so come ready for adventure.

A recently renovated homestay situated in Komodo, near Pink Beach, Dua Putri Komodo Homestay features free WiFi, a terrace and a shared lounge. We are a French couple and tried this genuine experience for 3 nights on beg December 2023. We are very happy and recommend it, but we believe it must be clear what to and not to expect. We hope the details below will help other travelers. First challenge is to contact Jahiding, the lovely host who is also a komodo ranger. You will get his WhatsApp once you book the stay. Once on the Island, Jahiding will take care of you from A to Z, he stayed with us as the guide during the tours we planed with him and the captain. It's a private small boat (meaning not big) and you can choose where to go and how long you stay at each spot. We believe It was a privilege compared to other tours with dozens of people and timed visits. -Transportation The main challenge is to get to komodo Island with the "phantom" public boat that nobody knows about. It does exist and is actually located in a separate Harbour. Here is the GPS location : -8.484518,119.876788 The name is "TPI Kampung Ujung port". There is a smelly fish market to go through, not hard to miss. Price is 100k IDR if captain does not try to charge the tourist fee. You have to ask people around the boat if it is the correct one as there is no ticket to buy in advance nor any special desk. Just hope on the boat once you are sure it is the right one and pay when you arrive. The boat is mid size and around 20-30 people make the trip. It is not a ferry, it is much smaller, around 20 meters long and 4 meters wide and only one deck with shade. Transport takes 4h and is noisy (depends on the boat you have), travelers are komodo residents which are all very kind. Be prepared for basic confort, no seat no bench, just boat wood. No toilet break neither. The boat schedule as Jahiding told us is as such, and you will have to plan your stay based on this. From Labuan to Komodo Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Between 9am and 11am. From Komodo to Labuan Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday between 9am and 10am.

Facing the beachfront, Sudamala Resort, Komodo, Labuan Bajo offers 5-star accommodation in Labuan Bajo and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. Great location by the beach in a quiet area. However, that means it is a bit far from the centre and transport is recommended. The room was big and clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful. The outdoor area is great - pool area, outdoor area around the rooms, and the beach area. The beach was clean and tidy, but only in front of the hotel. If you walk past this area, the beach is not that clean, but it didn't bother us as we understand that they cannot clean the whole beach. The food and drinks are good, but it's of course a bit more pricey due to being a resort. We loved that the resort offer different activities during your stay, like morning yoga.

Located in Labuan Bajo, within 400 metres of Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge Beach and 2.1 km of Pede Beach, Hôtel La Belle Etoile provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as... Very clean and nice room in a beautiful building. The owner André was very keen to help us for everything, even setting up a last minute private boat tour for 2 days 1 night. The position is a bit far from the harbour and the main street, where all restaurants and activities are, so you need a moped or a taxi to move every time. One can see great sunsets from the beach nearby.

Le Pirate Island - Adults Only features a restaurant and a bar in Labuan Bajo. The resort offers a sun terrace. the island it has been the best part of my trip in indonesia. The staff is so kind and the make you part of a family. I suggest to stay at least 3 night in order to really enjoy the relax. I will suggest this experience to everybody. Definitely

Situated on a private area of Pede Beach, Luwansa Beach Hotel houses an outdoor pool with sun loungers and accommodation with sea views. It also provides a complimentary airport transfer service. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Best of all is the excellent help. They were helpful and always happy. The beach was very nice to look at! Would love to come again!
