The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Everything was just like on the pictures on the website...perfect ! Very authentic place to stay a super quiet and romantic place. Short walking distance from the downtown area. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Convenient parking. Highly recommend this place !

Sauna, relax and Spa area for ca. 8 people is really comfortable, they arranged about 2 hour slots not to be overcrowded. In addition to the spa area there is an outdoor sauna and 2 extra wooden hot tubs as well for enthusiasts. The surrounding garden of the Hotel is well-kept, enough carparking lots, two of them with contacts for electric cars.

Great hotel. There is silence around, you can sleep with the door to the balcony open. A varied breakfast, a functional SPA center. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. Convenient parking. You can also take half board - the dinners are delicious. We were with the dog - a couch and a bowl were prepared in the room for the dog.

All appliances and equipment are new and modern and of higher standard. Breakfast around the corner was very good. Vegan options were also available so it was great. The water pressure was great, so taking a bath is very quick, which was a nice bonus. The nespresso machine in the room was also great.

We were allowed to self check in and there was a nice celection of wine bottles we could serve ourselves with at arrival. I would recomment it.
