It was the first town we stayed in The Gambia, while we were traveling with cars. The hosts were super nice and very very helpful. Staying there was really refreshing! If you want to understand how nice and welcoming Gambian people are, you should definitely book this place.

Hemos estado dos semanas viajando por toda Gambia y este ha sido nuestro alojamiento preferido. Recomiendo mucho alojarse al menos una noche (aunque si son dos, mejor). Levantarse por la mañana con esas vistas al río no tiene precio. Es simplemente mágico. Además, el personal es encantador.

El AbCa's Creek Lodge se encuentra en el interior, a unos 85 km de la costa, y alberga un restaurante. El alojamiento tiene balcón, baño privado con ducha y vistas al río y al jardín. El hotel, la ubicación, los servicios y, sobre todo, el personal que fueron una maravilla durante toda la estancia. Me puse enferma y me llevaron al hospital, estuvieron conmigo hasta que me dieron el alta y vigilaron que estuviera bien y cómoda. De verdad, no puedo agradecer suficiente lo mucho que me apoyaron y lo bien que se portaron conmigo.

Paradise estate Apt está en Bureng. Este departamento ofrece wifi gratis, una cocina totalmente equipada y un balcón.

El Fathala Wildlife Reserve está ubicado en Toubakouta y ofrece una experiencia en la naturaleza, pileta exterior y estacionamiento privado gratuito. La tienda de campaña es ideal, también la zona común de piscina y hamacas con vistas a las visitas de los animales. La cena muy rica. Tuvimos un problema con la gestión del Safari y la Manager del hotel se portó muy bien con nosotras.

El Feel Free Lodge se encuentra en la isla de Jinack y ofrece vistas al jardín, restaurante, recepción 24 horas, bar, jardín y solárium. The perfect place to enjoy the paradise in Gambia! Excelent service and delicious food!

Les Fromagers se encuentra en Missira y ofrece restaurante, pileta al aire libre, bar y salón compartido. The hotel is located in a beautiful village next to a lake and the oldest tree in this region (it's very impressive to see). We stayed at les Fromagers because we wanted to visit the Fathala Wild life reserve that is close by. On our arrival we found out that there are so many other activities to do like going fishing, watching crocodiles, visiting the islands etc. The owner of the place are very friendly and helpful. We experienced their great hospitality and felt very comfortable during our stay. I can recommend you also to try out their restaurant, since you get very tasty seafood there, freshly caught by the local fisherman. We will definitely visit again, when we are in Senegal.

El B & B Mariamacounda se encuentra en Toubakouta y ofrece vistas a la pileta, restaurante, mostrador de información turística, bar, jardín, pileta al aire libre abierta durante todo el año y... We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!
