As a former Hampshire lady myself now living in Denmark, it was so exciting to bring my Danish husband to Wiltshire, a county he hadn’t seen before. The village is so pretty~ it’s a little tricky to get to with all the tiny country roads, but once you find the village you’ve found a little gem in the Wiltshire countryside! Dinner and breakfast were delicious too!

The Manor House is a stunning 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland on the outskirts of Bath. Excellent location and friendly atmosphere and staff very relaxing especially bathroom with shower was excellent and car parking was very good over-all it was enjoyable to stay

Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa is a spectacular country-house hotel with Michelin Star dining. It is 9.7 km from Bath within a private 500-acre estate with a walled garden. The room was spacious and well-decorated. We has all the amenities we needed (robes, slippers, working TV, hair dryer, etc.). The hotel has plenty of activities, so take advantage! We did archery, horseback riding, went to the spa, at at the on-site restaurant, and played tennis (with rackets and balls they provided). It felt like such a genuine country-side experience and was simultaneously relaxing and activity-filled. Staff was wonderful and kind. We would absolutely return.

Situated in Amesbury, in scenic Wiltshire, The George Hotel, Amesbury, Wiltshire is a 5-minute drive from Stonehenge. Everything about this place was wonderful, bed comfy, beautiful linen, lovely bathroom, food tasty and so much history. Staff were great. Pictures didn't do it justice, better than I imagined. Decor is so thoughtful and lots of lovely little interesting touches.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.
