What a wonderful find - the Highdown - Brunning & Price is a fabulous pub with comfortable rooms and great service. The full english breakfast was excellent and we loved the artwork displayed throughout the property! The surrounding Highdown Hill area is great to explore with expansive views over the ocean. Highly recommended!

Featuring a restaurant, bar, garden and free high-speed WiFi, Purchases Restaurant is located in Chichester, 300 metres from Chichester Cathedral and 4 km from Goodwood Motor Circuit. What a great little find this was! After dropping my daughter at university, we stayed at Purchases for the night. We wish we could've stayed longer! Bedrooms were super comfy with cool little touches, like original light switches. GHD hairdryer available in the room, plus a coffee machine (small bottle of milk and oat milk for tea & coffee, in your room on arrival). Fantastic shower. Staff were welcoming, helpful and very professional. Fab breakfast, we ate in the garden room - which is stunning. Our server was charming and really helpful (didn't catch her name unfortunately). We've already booked two more stays for a few months time!

The place was so clean, and Judith fixed us an amazing breakfast with a specialty coffee! She was an excellent host and provided us with information of the town and surrounding area. She was extremely friendly and kind. Highly recommend!!! Would definitely stay here again!

You sit by floor to ceiling windows looking out on the spectacular gardens. The bedroom (Pear) was large and had three windows overlooking the gardens. Staff are friendly, kind, competent. Dinner came with 4-5 little extra food treats between courses. A marvellous experience!
