The Park Hotel is in a quiet area, in the centre of this historic seaside town, 800 metres from Montrose Rail Station and the golf course. It has free parking, en suite rooms and a bar and restaurant.... Amazing location - this was the final destination for the TGO Challenge hike across Scotland. Loved the bar and restaurant, rooms were clean, and close to ocean, golf, shops, etc.

Near the town centre, the Links Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant and free parking. Montrose rail station is nearby. Liked the hotel was close to center of town. Breakfast not up to our expectations. However, dinner was excellent. Our waitress was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful.

Room was extremely clean, nice and warm, great shower and toilet facilities. Everything you could want for a very good price. I would not hesitate to go back.

Harris Apartment is set in Montrose, 8.8 km from Lunan Bay, 48 km from Discovery Point, as well as 44 km from Glamis Castle. The location, size and decor of the place was perfect. Ample amount of supplies for us in our two day stay. Comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. Lots of personal touches where you can really see the owners take pride in taking care of it. The place was absolutely spotless.
