A 25-minute drive from Fort William, Glencoe House offers accommodation in 10 acres of private gardens. There is free WiFi throughout the buildings, and free private parking on site. Everything was perfect. The house, the suite was amazing. Dinner expérience in the room absolutely fantastic, dinner and breakfast were both perfect (merci au chef Français). Views from all rooms of the suite are excellent. Also the short walk close to the house is really nice. Friendly staff.

In a stunning location, between the mighty Glencoe Mountains, this baronial Highland hotel offers an irresistible blend of history and style with modern comforts and luxuries. Everything was in order, clean and classy. Also, amazing breakfast. For the price paid at 117 pounds it was the best of our stays in Scotland.
Hotel in Glencoe
Almost afloat, The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is nestled on the side of a peninsula, reaching into Loch Leven at the foot of Glencoe. The drive on the infamous scenic A82 was highly rewarding when we reached Isle of Glencoe and was greeted by Richard, truly the best reception experience we had in awhile after travelling in various cities. We travelled during Jan 23 and being from Asia, the mountains, lake, warm service and really comfortable rooms are the little things that made us really happy that we specifically chosen Isle of Glencoe as the highlight of our trip. The cosy, warm room was clean and tidy and the G&T complimentary in the room is really the best I had in UK. When in the restaurant, highly recommend the heartwarming cullen skink/chowder. Definitely coming back! P/s: If you have watched Skyfall, you'd definitely recognise the route when driving up. Enjoy the view!
Hotel in Glencoe
Stunningly situated by the sea, this stylish hotel offers chic accommodation, facilities and dining. We had a perfect stay at the hotel and can’t wait to come again. We travelled as a little family with a 4 year old daughter. The reception was really friendly and welcoming, just like all staff members that we met. The rooms are huge, all facing the sea side and are well equipped with big comfortable beds. The bathroom is big and clean and the hotel provides free amenities outside of the rooms, in case you run out of tea, cookies or soap. Really perfect. The restaurant is directly next to the shore, you get a great view of the Loch. The food was the best we’ve had during our stay in Scotland. we had fresh (huge) mussels for a very reasonable price and the restaurant staff cared so much for our well being. Also breakfast was just delicious. It’s a classical Full Scottish and cereals. The breakfast was incredibly well prepared, everything was fresh and tasty. The spa area was nice and clean as well. Pool and whirlpool had the ideal temperature. In the evening it was totally empty and we had the area for ourself. Some other commentators wrote that it felt old and outdated. We liked it a lot, everything was well maintained and much better than some other modern hotels we stayed in. We will definitely come back and stay longer next time.

Glencoe
We were staying in the Alpine bunkhouse, and it was one of our best stays of the trip! The communal area is cozy and welcoming and the kitchen has everything you need. The room and beds were very comfy as well. Every part of the building was spotless. Wifi worked like a charm. The walk to the hostel from the nearest bus stop takes about 30 minutes, but is quite pleasant because of the cute village of Glencoe and the beautiful scenery on the way. The location is also ideal for hiking, with many beautiful trails nearby.
The rental is actually a spacious apartment with a full kitchen. The amenities are exceptional and Mairi (host) has thought of absolutely every detail. The location is superb in being so close to Glencoe and Oban. There is hiking outside the location and a paved bike bath in the front along the water. The patio doors open to a beautiful of the water and it was a peaceful and quiet stay. Perfect location and perfect host!! This would also be a great place to go to do remote work. Has a space for work if needed.
The Hollytree is a 'network' hotel. It aims to meet your expectations, not to exceed them. The Holytree of Glencoe did just that. The location is excellent, Close to famous Glencoe, and the highlands, on the shore of Loch Linnhe. It has a picturesque Jetty and the view from the room (and the restaurant) was magnificent. Staff was very helpful (thank you, Madelene), food was decent and more. We enjoyed a lot. Thumbs up.
Excellent setting for a hotel. Beautiful scenery and walking trails. Best hotel so far for staying around Glencoe. It was a bit pricey but the pool helps and the bathtub was perfect to relax after a drive and a winter walk. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was full with outside people which means the food is decent. Outside my budget but there was a nice coop round the corner. A big plus.
The apartment felt like a home away from home. It is spacious, comfortable, at a great location for day trips or for just enjoying the views of the loch. Free parking, good wifi, plenty of personal touches that make you feel welcome, and lovely hosts. Comfy beds, shower, and a functional kitchen make this a place we'll definitely choose again when we return to the Glencoe area.
Ballachulish
Stunning location, and a beautifully furnished apartment with everything we needed for our stay. We had our dog with us and it was so lovely to walk around the beautiful gardens. We were so close to all the stunning sights in Glencoe, it was ideal. Highlight was listening to an owl as we went for an evening walk around the garden!
Ballachulish
Excellent location with easy access to a lochside footpath that used to be a railway - perfect for an evening stroll. The apartment was finished to a good standard with everything you need for a self catering stay. Great place to explore Glencoe and the surrounding area and the hosts were very friendly. Perfect.
Glencoe
Very special place to come to. Gorgeous views, the hot tub is a real treat. Love how the property is near the hotel and facilities. Centrally located to see around Glencoe by car. Staff are exceptionally lovely. We had a very special family time here. Thankyou! Wonderful stay and will definitely be back
Kinlochleven
Lovely location set next to Glencoe with breathtaking views to wake up to. Hotel was spotless with lovely clean and comfortable beds, honesty bar in the hall with soft drinks and beers. Hosts were super friendly and excellent cooked breakfast. Great for local restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Glencoe
Distinctive hotel very conveniently located in the village of Glencoe. Perfect homebase if you want to go day-hiking to see the beautiful mountains, lochs and streams nearby. Hotel has many cozy corners for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. My room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities.
The location of this hotel was good, close enough (by car) to where we were going (Glencoe). The room itself was pleasant enough for our 1 night stay. We arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist was the barman, who was busy, but also accommodating and friendly.
Ballachulish
The apartment was so comfortable and just big enough for the two of us. it was also located very well for easy access to to hiking and Glencoe. Our host was able to help us immediately with the tv and the oven.
Ballachulish
Excellent hostel. Very international of all ages. Nice for families. Staff highly knowledgeable, informative, kind and welcoming. Perfect location for Glencoe area.
the location was nice and Glencoe is indeed a glorious place to hike and explore. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of options when it comes to lodging there.
Very quaint hotel. Cute bar, nice room, easy to find. Perfect place to start a drive through Glencoe.
location and house was beautiful, weather very wet, bit lonely on my own.
The view was nice but everything near there closes early so plan accordingly. The beds and the showers left some things to be desired...
Bath tub Immerse in nature Good breakfast Cozy
