Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

With free parking and WiFi, The Mill Hotel is in the centre of Sudbury, on the banks of the River Stour. It has a bar, restaurant and sun terrace each with picturesque views over the meadows. the beautiful views of the meadows! the staff was so friendly and helpful. we had a great time.

Situated in 300 acres of countryside on the edge of the Dedham Vale and just off the A134, this hotel is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Colchester and Ipswich. clean, smart, great golf club bar and main hotel bar. Restaurant was great, good food and very good service.

Accommodation is pure luxury with such attention to detail from the home made cake to the little ducks for the bath if you can find them. Just park your car up right outside your room and explore. Lovely hosts that look after you and cook you a fabulous breakfast. If your thinking about it don't just book it you won't be disappointed.
