Old school hoteliers in the most positive way. The hotel is not new but well maintained and in good shape. It is not a posh, stylish, hipster get-together but probably this, paired with the gorgeous family, makes the hotel special. Prices are also okay for the area. Clear recommendation from my side.

Loved everything about this magical place steps from the most beuaitful beach in Europe. The staff is fantastic. It felt like another world! I miss it already! Huge rooms, great breakfast. two hours 2 to door from Paris!

Situated on Corsica’s southern coast in Porto-Vecchio, The Bergeries de Palombaggia offers both idyllic beaches and spectacular mountain scenery. All the rooms are self-contained small houses on the property (great for those looking for privacy and quiet). Plenty of flowers on the grounds of the property, you feel like you’re staying in a botanical garden. The staff drives the guests to the beach and back in a small buggy, which is awesome because without it, the walk to the pailotte (beach club) is about 30min, which under the sun feels like eternity. It would be good if the same buggy service was provided for dinner too, but it’s only available during the day. We got a free room upgrade halfway through our stay, which was a nice touch.
