We will come back to lovely Dordogne and will stay again at the Domaine de Rochebois.

Often photos on sites make a place look better than it actually is. Auberge de Castel-Merle is so much better than the photos led me to expect. Truly one of the most lovely accommodation experiences I have ever had. I hope to stay there again.

Great location, very nice room, excellent service, and a restaurant with excellent food (would definitely deserve a Michelin star).

Hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, view from your terrace of a valley, where deer could be seen every day. Very nice room, with a lot of amenities, like Nespresso coffee-machine, very clean. Very hospitable and kind owners, who did everything they could to ensure you had a pleasant stay. Food in the restaurant was delicious, besides a la carte, every morning a menu du jour was presented, in which adjustments could be made, if you did not liked certain courses.
