Located in Savonlinna, Cafe-Restaurant & Hotel Saima has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. Owner Johanna is a star in kindness and flexibility. I booked on the same day as I arrived, and even though I showed up by her surprise, she was very welcoming. The boutique hotel is in a perfect condition, with a personal touch that makes you feel at home, rooms are very good and spacy with great facilities. Breakfast is excellent.

The place is fantastic, a manor house near Sulkava on a huge estate. Reception was extremly friendly and helpful, room was huge, breakfast was great and made from lokal produce (when possible)

Just 328 feet from the bridge to Olavinlinna Castle, this small boutique hotel is next to Lake Saimaa in Savonlinna. It offers individually decorated rooms with scenic views and free wired internet. Absolutely one of the best little places I've stayed anywhere! It's a cosy little place with only a couple of rooms which open up to a lawn with an amazing view of the castle and the lake. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed getting to chat with her after breakfast and learning more about the area. It was more akin to being a welcomed guest in someone's home rather than just a customer as a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again!

Such an enchanting place ! Everything so special, super nice breakfast with natural ingredients. I think the best service I have ever gotten.

Set in an orthodox monastery by Lake Juojärvi, Valamon Luostari offers peaceful accommodations and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. Joensuu city center is 55 minutes’ drive away. Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.

Located on an island on Lake Saimaa, this property is 10 minutes' drive from Punkaharju and 30 minutes’ drive from Savonlinna. It offers free WiFi and great fishing opportunities just yards away. The atmosphere And the nature is the key of the place. Very poor breakfast.
