Every detail is painted in wonderful colours. You live in a botanical garden! There is birdsong, otherwise it is quiet. Everything makes you smile! Short walk to the beach, short walk to Tazacorte town. This is one of the best (two or three) hotels i have stayed in.

I liked the remote setting overlooking the wild coastline. The landscaping and planting of the grounds is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa. Food choice was fine and staff were gracious. It was nice that it was off peak and that it was not crowded at all.

Hotel La Palma Romántica offers elegant accommodation within the picturesque Laurisilva Forest. It has 2 pools, a spa and rooms with views of the Atlantic Ocean, or surrounding mountains. La Palma Romantica is a gem lost in La Palma jungle. It features spectacular views into the ocean, there are plenty of paths to walk around with a small lake, beautiful trees, lots of flowers. We were also quite impressed by the wooden interior decor. Although a bit dated, it creates a unique atmosphere. It is very quiet here and one can easily forget all the worries of the world. The breakfast and dinner were good and there is a good choice of options, especially for dinner. We stayed here on our first vacation with our infant (5 months) and he was well taken care of. Finally, a bit of peace after the hectic first months after birth :-).
