The area in which it is located is beautiful, and the position is ideal for reaching the center of Heidelberg and the most interesting attractions. Truly a fantastic hotel that I will recommend to friends without hesitation and that I will visit again as soon as possible. Thank you for your hospitality and welcoming that made our stay special.

The bed was the most comfortable we have had in Europe. The property is on the edge of the Black Forest and gorgeous. Breakfast buffet had all we could ask for and was constantly replenished as guests ate. Easy walk to town, which exceeded our expectations! Wish we could have stayed several days.

Schlosshotel Horneck features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Gundelsheim. We stayed 4 nights. Breakfast was great with eggs, cheeses, meats, various breads, fruits and yogurts. The breakfast seating area oversaw a pretty narrow valley with vineyards. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Neckar River and the staff was very friendly. Restaurants were a short walk into town along cobblestone streets. We would often ended the day by purchasing a bottle of local wine from the hotel and enjoying it on the hotel terrace overseeing the river. It is very central if you have a car with Rothenberg (1.25 hr), Heidelberg (50 min), Stuttgart (1 hr) away. Also, if you like birds of prey you must go to Burg Guttenberg just across the river for the bird show. It is a must see!
