I usually have a good stay at an Ibis, but this time - in Kiel was truly great! The bar staff on the evening I arrived was terrific and I stayed up WAY too long having a great conversation with the guys. Kiel is a great option for those wanting to escape the big city of Frankfurt!! (No offense Frankfurt!!)

Some rooms at the boutique hotel have sea views. nice location direct at the seafront (harbour), excellent lounge music in the bar area, all modern style maritime, good match to the location and the area the hotel is located, even art in the room and interesting details everywhere..very nice...not a typical standard hotel atmosphere, excellent !! inteeresting..no checkout because no additional fees ( bar ) to be paid, you pay the bar or restaurant directly after order, means no lineup in the morning and waiting for checkout...just drop the keycard..and your are off.

This 4-star hotel is located in the centre of Kiel, directly opposite Kiel Main Station and 100 metres from Kiel Fjord. It offers modern, non-smoking rooms with free WiFi. We had travelled all day by train from London and it was just past midnight when we arrived in Kiel. Thank God when the hotel was visible from the railway station. The staff were super friendly and had even provided a little soft toy for our girl in her cot. I could have cried. Superb breakfast, will be back.

It is 500 metres from the Kiel Fjord and Old Town district. we booked the room for 4 people, the room was supper clean, beautiful and spacious, all staff was very friendly, nice and very informative and could answer all my questions. very great breakfast :)
