Located 250 metres from Bad Steben Therme spa, this 3-star, Art Nouveau hotel offers rooms with free internet, a garden with sun terrace, and healthy breakfast buffets featuring natural produce. The hotel was in a perfect location for walking into town for dinner shopping or heading out on hike. Close to the there also. And the owner was very nice. The breakfast was superb!!!

This hotel in beautiful, natural surroundings provides ideal accommodation for short trips to the Thuringian Forest, Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge), the Czech Republic, the Fichtel Mountains... Owner was soooooooo nice, very accommodating! Room was super nice, dinner phenomenal and dessert was a plus! Breakfast was great also! Very quiet area and perfect for an overnight stay driving between Berlin and Munich!

This guest house is located in Schwarzenbach am Wald. Gästehaus Katharina am Gasthof Rodachtal has an on-site restaurant and a terrace. We came here to see the Persiden star shower, because of the lack of light pollution in the area, but unfortunately we're not able too see it, too cloudy. 😢 The location is perfect. The room & lodging are SUPER clean, very thorough, everything has been wiped down. The beds are very comfortable and the blankets were enough to keep us warm. Great shower & water pressure, thanks for the extra bath gel! We LOVED the little surprise sweets on our beds, very thoughtful! ❤️ The breakfast is buffet and the host has meticulously thought of everything - where you sit, individual coffee pots, HANDMADE marmelade, rolls that have been previously cut for you, hard boiled eggs stamped with "Good morning" on them 😱😱😱 She has an attention to detail that is so impressive! We are looking forward to coming back time and time again, we'll find a reason - meteor shower, Bad Steben visit, hiking in nature... we'll 💯 be back! Thanks for a lovely weekend!
