Rooms were clean and up to date. Breakfast was plentiful and the presentation was beautiful. Note that there is no elevator so suitcases need to be carried up the stairs, however employees happened to be there and helped us with that. No complaints.

This is a lovely hotel that has the warm feeling of a family-run business, and is situated in a beautiful area. The rooms are somewhat basic (no fridge, no coffee corner) but are very comfortable and clean, and all had balconies with a magnificent view of the black forest. We had an amazing dinner in the hotel as well, where the dining room also overlooks that same beautiful scenery. Breakfast was included, and also was incredibly plentiful and tasty. Staff were helpful as we are English speakers and the menus were only in German. There are also many well-marked walking trails of varying lengths starting right from the hotel, we did two of them and really enjoyed ourselves. We definitely recommend a stop here, or even just a meal if you are passing through.
