Boasting a shared lounge, Rivers Passau is set in Passau, within 2789 feet of Cathedral Passau and 1 mi of University of Passau. Free WiFi is provided. There was a laundry just around the corner. This was convenient after 2 weeks on the river cruise and biking! There was also a grocery store 2 blocks away, easy walking distance for breakfast, drinks and snacks. It also had coffee and fresh pastries. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. The room was very nice! We used the fridge and microwave. We loved the heated floor in the bathroom and the towel warmer. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. This room was nicer than the rooms we stayed at the Hilton in Munich and Prague! We ate dinner at an Italian restaurant, 23 Venti tre, that was excellent and only 2 blocks from the hotel.

I went to Zeitlang with my mum for a couple of days to relax and explore the Bavarian Forest. The place is even better looking than in the photos. We also upgraded to a suite, so we had a double bed and a sofa bed (also double), fully equipped kitchen, 2 TVs, a nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was great - everything fresh and staff were very attentive to refill anything immediately. The little spa area was very modern, clean and relaxing. The town Lam itself has a couple of restaurants to choose from - we always went to Roesslwirt across the street, where you could get Bavarian food, as well as more modern food (including veggie options). It's beneficial to have a care when going there, as we took day trips around the area from Lam to see local sights, e.g. the dragon in Furth im Wald, etc. 10/10 recommend this place.

The breakfast was tasty and provided a variety to choose from. The place was relaxing and provided a wonderful view of the nearby towns and Bavarian Forest from the terrace located on the top floor. The booklet in the rooms provided a list of services and was presented in clear language in both English and German. I found it very inclusive and thoughtful. The hotel is located in a quiet area, and one can truly enjoy a relaxing weekend.

It's a 10 min train ride to the Bavarian Forest National Park and train passes are included with your stay so you can travel throughout the park. The bedroom located in a separate building was spacious with a balcony and open views across the countryside. For dinner the menu had a good choice of meals made with local products. Very friendly staff, always ready to help, especially at the restaurant! Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Breakfasts were very good, wide choice of vegetables and fruits, fresh bread, different types of cheese and ham, cereals, tasty omelette a d sausages. Coffee was also very tasty. Dinner buffet was also beyond the expectations, especially on Friday and Saturday evening: fish, meat, chicken, vegetables, wide range of desserts, soup of the day - very delicious! The bar is very cosy, nice choice of drinks and cocktails. The Spa area was amazing as well: warm enough swimming pool, two big saunas, the massage was very relaxing and professional: the best I’ve ever tried at the hotels! The location is very good-many skiing slopes nearby, just 5-10 min by car. Enough space for parking a car. Even when the hotel is full of guests, the staff is very quick and always try to help with everything!!!

The “Helles” was excellent. Food was typical German/Bavarian wholesome and tasty. Staff were friendly. Recommended

The rooftop over the car, the room, the balcony with the view, I enjoyed the oiled soap, especially good after using the pool for the skin. The breakfast is exceptionally, the variety and the quality also, especially the idea of self baking eggs. Amazing.
