Featuring a bar and views of city, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. Excellent, comfortable and cosy hotel. All major sites and the beach are within walking distance. The staff were very nice and welcoming throughout our stay. The jacuzzi on the rooftop at the bar are a major plus. Nice way to enjoy Mindelo weather in a relaxing way.

Located within less than 1 km of Diogo Alfonso Statue and 11 km of Monte Verde Natural Park, Casa da Djedja offers rooms in Mindelo. Patricia and her staff were amazing. They helped me book a guide to Santo Antao, made a dinner reservation, booked taxis when I needed them. The space is beautiful and well-maintained and the staff really take it up a notch.

Very big room (47 m2). Friendly lady at the reception but also during breakfast. I ate a very good cachupa, served with 2 eggs above. We also appreciate that our delay of one day at arrival was not charged, due to the LUXAIR which couldn’t land at Mindelo airport in time.

The hotel is well-located to many restaurants and the port/terminal where one can take the ferry to the neighboring island. We arrived early (before the check-in time), and Henry offered us free breakfast at the hotel restaurant, located just downstairs. We left for the other island early the next morning, and he made sure that a small snack had been prepared for us. Days later, we were able to keep our bags there as we explored the city. Henry (again) arranged a taxi for our trip to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!
