We have really enjoyed our stay at Isolinda’s apartment. From start to finish we felt like at home. Isolinda has come to pick us at the airport and dropped at off after the stay. The house is located in very quiet neighbourhood and ideal for someone who wants to disconnect and be in the nature. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. There are 2 terraces to enjoy. The local Ponta Preta beach is very nice and you will be pretty much the only people enjoying it. At the main beach in town you can buy fresh fish daily and then enjoy cooking it or making a barbecue at home. The best part is the host Isolinda who always went out of her way to answer any questions and to give us recommendations. She always answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Maio is a small island and you can visit most of the main points in one day either by hiring a car or doing a tour. It feels like going back in time where the pace of life is much slower. Everything is relaxed and no stress :) People are very nice and friendly, greet you on the street and smile. Overall we would highly recommend Isolinda’s apartment and we undoutebly will be back once traveling back in Maio. Thank you again for your hospitality.

The appartement was newly renovated and super-equiped; there was everything from can-oppener to washing machine ... everything was spotlessly clean. It is roomy, light, and we enjoyed the terrace at the front with seaview. Shops are within walking distance and you are between two beautifull beaches. But the best were our hosts: generous, helpful, humorous and a delight to stay with.

Objekat Barracudamaio, koji se nalazi u gradu Morro, u regiji Maio, nudi smeštaj sa besplatnim WiFi internetom i besplatnim privatnim parkingom. kristoph and Mona are a very hospitable and warm couple ( French/Norwegian) , you feel immediately at home with them. They pick you up from the boat and serve excellent meals, homemade bread and marmelade and cheese for breakfast, fresh fish dinners. They have created their own piece of heaven on a hectare of walled land. There are only two apartments, very cosy and well equipped. the dogs Jazzy and Irma are part of the family and make you feel straight at home as well. The beautiful beach is at walking distance very nearby, as is the lovely laid back village of Moro. Just walk to the beautiful centuries old baobab tree and you will find the village. From Villa maio/Porto ingles you can walk back to your apartment along the salt pans, a lovely one and a half hour walk.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, Torre Sabina is set in Calheta. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. What an incredible place, right on the beach with amazing views out to sea and only a 10 minute walk to the village. Sabina. Walter and Elida were so welcoming and extraordinarily helpful when our travel plans hit a bump. Thank you so much. Your generosity was much appreciated.
