Set on the beach in Costa Rica’s Tortuguero National Park, El Icaco Tortuguero offer Caribbean Sea views from the common areas. You can observe the protected Green Turtle laying its eggs nearby. This is a great hotel in a great location--right next to the beach! Of course, you can't swim in the ocean around Tortuguero, but it was still fabulous to have the ocean right there! You can just step outside in the morning and go for a walk. The hotel is next to a tree where the Great Green Macaws flock and hang out. The hotel is also really quiet at night. The staff are also wonderful--friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The fan works perfectly. I never felt too hot. Showers had hot water. Breakfast was great! For budget travelers, this is a terrific hotel.

La Casona Eco-Lodge Tortuguero features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Tortuguero. The property is non-smoking and is located a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. Super clean room and very well located just a couple of minutes walk from Tortuguero main square. The staff was suoer friend and the check in process easy and quick.

Set in Tortuguero and with Tortuguero Beach reachable within a few steps, Carey Lodging offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi throughout the property and a... We reserved half board and the dinner was unique they really took their time with it! It felt magical. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!!

Located in Tortuguero, 400 metres from Tortuguero Beach, Tuanis Guest House provides air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

Set in Tortuguero, Limon region, Hotel Serendipity is situated a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. With a garden, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private... Hotel Serendipity's staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - for example (1) meeting us at the main boat pier on arrival and escorting us, carrying our luggage on a cart, to the hotel, (2) discussing and arranging an excellent birdwatching tour, (3) general housekeeping including fast turnround on laundry. The hotel is very new and pleasant with a central covered courtyard for meals. Location is near the Reserve and the beach but also near a small supermarket and a short walk into the main town.

Green Macaw Hostel is located in Tortuguero. The property is set 400 metres from Tortuguero National Park. At the economy hotel, the rooms include a patio and a shared kitchen. Everything was fine. Eddil the owner was super friendly and helped a lot when staying there. Wifi worked very well, the shared bathroom was very clean and good hot water. A shared kitchen outside with some coffee and tea also available. During our stay my partner had some stomach problems and Eddil supported us a lot. I am really happy even if we were a bit unlucky during our stay. thanks a lot Eddil! ;)

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. Amazing hotel!! The rooms were nice, spacious and clean, with towels and bed sheets changed everyday. The setting is amazing as you are right by the jungle and can hear the birds and monkeys. There is also a nice swimming pool, which is great as you cannot swim in the sea in Tortuguero. The staff was extremely nice and helpful: we booked all our tours through them, and they did not hesitate to help me search everywhere for an item I had lost. Very friendly people, I definitely recommend this place :)

Cabinas Balcon del Mar Tortuguero is just 100 metres from hiking and fishing at Tortuguero National Park. Free WiFi access is available. The beach is just steps away. Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.

Surrounded by an extensive garden and located 200 metres from Tortuguero National Park, Hostal y Cabinas Tortuguero features a terrace with hammocks and free Wi-Fi throughout. Wonderful hotel full of character that gives a real sense of being in the jungle. The room had everything needed and it’s very centrally located. the welcome drink and pack was a really kind touch. Lastly, a special mention for the amazing Nehla. She went above and beyond to help me with moving on to my next destination when I had no Visa card (essential!) or cash. Thanks so, so much. I would have been lost without you!!

Facing the beachfront, El Deseo Serendipity Tortuguero offers 4-star accommodation in Tortuguero and features a garden, terrace and bar. the people are incredibly lovely, picked us up from the harbour and carried our bags to the hotel. greeted us with a fruit smoothie. it is right on the beach. it's incredible.
