Andrew the chef is clearly Michelin - bound made excellent meals and the massage was heavenly and in a superb setting! Hot mineral spring pools were also GREAT!

It was great sleep there and feel the nature around. The owners are very heplful and they are able prepare food for you from their home planted bio-products! (better ask with little of anticipacion)

The rooms were spotlessly clean, featuring nice sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed. Nearby, a cute shop had goodies, water and other local stuff. Also, Francisco let me store my bag pack in the property after check-out because I was going to the waterfalls. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Selvatica as one of the best stays in Bajos del Toro. Thank you, Francisco, for creating such a memorable experience. Can't wait to return to this hidden paradise!

We had the most amazing stay and the staff (thank you Mario in particular!) couldn't have been more accommodating of our photography needs! The place is teeming with wildlife which was the reason for our stay: hundreds of hummingbirds around the feeders along with many other spacial sightings in and around the lodge including a quetzal exceeded our expectations by far! Our room was very (very!) spacious with the most comfortable bed we've had during our time in Costa Rica (it wasn't "extra firm" like most others...)
