If you want an authentic jungle experience, this is the place to go! Located in the middle of the jungle the accommodation is rather basic but extraordinarily charming. The hosts are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and also very knowledgeable about the jungle. You can use the several trails they have prepared to hike on your own in the jungle or ask their help. The homemade food was tasty, nourishing and very reasonable priced. I'd come back any time.

The Jaguars Jungle Rainforest Lodge - All meals included features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in San Pedrillo. Such an incredible experience! Feels like living inside the jungle! The stuff of the hotel were super nice! Big thanks to the chef Pablo who was amazingly nice and made for us the greatest food! We will definitely come back :)

Cabinas Jimenez offers an outdoor pool and is located right by the beach of the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. We LOVED our stay here! Staff were so friendly, the free bikes and kayaks were an amazing bonus. It is just out of town, so you feel like you are out of the busy part of town, but still an easy walk into town for anything you need. Room was spotless and nice comfortable bed. We'll be back!

Situated in Puerto Jiménez, 700 metres from Playa Isidora, Kunken Boutique Hotel & Spa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The property is in the most amazing location! Totally worth the drive. Quiet, relaxing, and private. Stunning views. Macaws and toucans flying overhead, howler monkeys bellowing in the morning, and the occasional spider monkeys sighting on property. The staff were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful - everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was delicious - everything is homemade. We highly recommend the pineapple papaya marmalade on toast at breakfast. We would visit Kunken again and again!
