House of Nomad - Adults only er staðsett í Tamarindo, 500 metra frá Tamarindo-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Hotel Tabasco er staðsett í Playa Flamingo, 300 metra frá Potrero-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, spilavíti og grillaðstöðu. This hotel is the best! The couple that own it are so helpful and friendly and provide the best breakfast with homemade croissants, breads and jellies!!!

Beach Front Bahia er staðsett í Sámara og er steinsnar frá Samara-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á alhliða móttökuþjónustu, herbergi, verönd, ókeypis WiFi og bar. Wonderful small hotel. We had an apartment with kitchen, two bedrooms and a balcony right on the beach. The hotel had a nice restaurant for food and drinks. It was a 7 minute walk on the beach to restaurants in town.

ONDA - Playa Grande - Adults Only er staðsett í Playa Grande, 200 metra frá Grande-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. Everything was laid back, the people there are lovely and help you with everything and they have an amazing system with food ordering. Also the dorms are amazing and the beds are really big😁

The White Palms of Nosara er staðsett í Playa Guiones, 1 km frá Guiones-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Its comfort its architecture moreover it was quiet , no constant music in the background like unfortunately in many places . It feels just wonderful to be able to listen to the jungle sounds and this should be more celebrated ;) All staff was also very professional and helpful . We also liked meeting the big hotel pet: the well fed iguana !

Hotel Elixir er staðsett í Tamarindo, 600 metra frá Tamarindo-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði og garði. Þetta 4 stjörnu hótel býður upp á farangursgeymslu. The location is close to everything but quite. Pool is really nice.

Finca Avellanas er staðsett í Playa Avellana, 2 km frá Avellanas-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Beautifully built cabins in the trees with a great ability to build everything from wood with style. Good facilities and very comfortable.

Tuki Tuki Lodge er staðsett í Sámara, 1 km frá Samara-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gistirýmið er með sólarhringsmóttöku og herbergisþjónustu fyrir gesti. TUKI TUKI, Loved this hotel! JP (The Owner) is the perfect host, always available to give you tips and help with anything you need. My stay at hotel TUKI TUKI lodge could not have been better. My room was super cozy and comfortable, and steps away from a small pool to cool off. JP is the perfect host, always available to give you tips and help with anything you need. The facilities were clean, and everything around was in good condition. This is probably the nicest room I stayed in in Costa Rica. Clean, cute property with lots of greenery, hot water, close by the beach and supermarket. Beautiful facility. I don't usually care to use a pool when I have an ocean to swim in... but in this case it was awesome to have access to both. The room had a fridge so that made getting a few things at the store, like yogurt and fruit and soda. The breakfast every morning was great. The good vibes within the place and other guests. I’m always looking for places where I can have a nice and tranquil days, well, this is the place if you want to do that. JP Thanks fore your friendship and hope to see you in the future.

SoulShine er staðsett í Playa Avellana, 500 metra frá Avellanas-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Gestir geta nýtt sér barinn. I can attest to what folks familiar with this area already know - SoulShine's breakfast/lunch is by far the best in the area, if not the entire province of Guanacaste. The menu has uniquely delicious, wholesome offerings, including some of the best bread, tapas, and smoothies I've ever had. The gardens provide a peaceful, beautiful oasis, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. And last but not least, the owners are exceptionally helpful, lovely people.

Hotel Casa Carlota Tamarindo er staðsett í Tamarindo og er með garð. Það er útisundlaug á staðnum sem er opin allt árið um kring og gestir geta nýtt sér ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.
