We kayaked around the island and visited other small islands - this is definitely the best place we saw. 1) The privacy of the amazing beach, and only 3 rooms which gives you space but also an opportunity to connect with other travelers 2) You can snorkel with plankton right on the back side of the property at the mangrove 3) The owner is the nicest lady and runs the place perfect! Agree with all her choices. Very homey. 4) Free paddle board and kayak 5) Amazing food! 6) Lots of hang out areas 7) The owner can organize trips to the other islands Mucura and Islote for you.

Featuring a restaurant and direct access to a private beach, Hotel Punta Faro offers rooms with free WiFi and air conditioning in Cartagena de Indias. It was one of the best hotels we ever stayed! Food was great, staff was amazing, the whole mentality of peace and quiet was really appreciated. The location is 2 hours away from Cartagena on their own boat. The island is a paradise! Highly recommended!
