Fray and Helena provide a welcoming environment in the middle of the jungle, with cute monkeys and parrots present on site. The rooms are simple and “roots”, but comfortable and match the environment. You get what you come for, peace and quiet right there on the Amazone river. Highly recommend.

All facilities are in excellent condition, the rooms are clean. Delicious breakfast is served in roof terrace. The hotel arrange free transport to the airport and to the city centre. And the hospitality is really incredible! The staff is very helpful, responsive and friendly. Great value for money!

The location is just fantastic - insanely beautiful scenery and a lot of areas, where you can sit down, relax and enjoy yourself and your surroundings. The place is not very sound-proof, but somehow, I had the best sleep I've had in years. The food was very good. Don't expect a 5 course gourmet meal - it's the Amazon jungle. There isn't a multitude of options, but everything you get, is very tasty. The beer is ice-cold. Most importantly, the staff is warm, welcoming and extremely helpful. From booking the boat tickets to arranging different tours around the area, everything went without a hickup. - all that despite us speaking very little Spanish and the staff not speaking much English. Carmelo - thank you for being such a great host and making us feel welcome during the entire stay! (apologies for thinking, that you were Carlos for the first couple of days)
