There is a big kitchen which you can use, or if you want to eat out the owner has a nice restaurant on the other side of the square. Where you can also wash your clothes, which is super convenient after getting dirty in the national park. The owner is super friendly, we had a great stay.

We checked in real late at 11pm and he was there waiting patiently for our arrival. As we havent had our dinner, we requested for some hot water to cook our cup noodle, to our amase, senor cesare not only brought us hot water, also some coffee n tea for us. It was a beautiful gesture. Room was clean and tidy Very happy with our stay

Don’t expect super de luxe facilities in this ‘passing through’ town, but the amenities are all there and the hotel is very very clean and comfortable. Also fluently English speaking. We liked it very much.

The room was very comfortable. the breakfast was probably the best eve had in South America. The pizza was awesome. Chris the owner and chef, despite doing a million things at once, still finds time to get to know you, find out where you’re from and where you’re going. We stayed here before and after our Sale Flats tour and can’t recommend it highly enough.

We absolutely loved our three nights at Hotel Cayara. Staying at this beautiful, historic hacienda was a highlight of our trip. We would love to come back. We enjoyed wandering around the gardens and took a hike past the waterfall to what is called the "city of rocks." It was absolutely beautiful. The location is very peaceful and serene. I absolutely look forward to returning. The breakfast was a nice spread, with fresh eggs and homemade cheese. We had dinner at the hacienda two nights, everything was delicious. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. We recommend taking the museum tour of the house, and we learned it has so many interesting historical objects and seeing the older rooms and library was a treat. This is a very very special place. We took a day trip to Potosi. We took a city tour and asked to go to the entrance of a mine, without going in. It was very interesting learning the important history of Potosi and Cayara!
