You are staying in a pub (fairly new renovation, very clean) so it is communal with shared bathrooms - seperate showers and toilets and rooms opening onto a shared verandah but everyone knows that and the other travellers were respectful and friendly if one wanted to engage. Meals are downstairs (can be delivered upstairs) in the pub which is like a giant dining and games room with super friendly locals, again if one wants to engage. Town itself tiny but super nice and receptive to tourists who are mostly drive by wanderers and bikers. Note the bridge on the Tyalgum Road is out and has been for some time so come via Chillingham - a good road and not a big deal once you know ! Very easy drive from Murwillumbah which in turn is easy from M1 (when it doesn't have road works).

Boasting a garden, Grey Gum Lodge is located in Nimbin. Featuring a terrace, the guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle service. Location was great 500m from town. Lots of parking on street but it felt secure. Nice cottage B&B feel. Beds were ultra comfortable, sheets were velvety, plenty of bedding to feel warm in July, comfy pillows and mattress. Room had air con, tv, brand new bathroom, hot water. And outdoor facilities, verandah and chill out garden were very nice.

Built in the 1900s, Bangalow Guesthouse is situated amongst landscaped gardens on the banks of Byron Creek. the ambiance was fabulous there was nothing that you could fault the property with amazing

Silk Pavilions Glamping is situated in the heart of Tweed Valley, nestled amongst native bush, lakes and rainforest. Guests can enjoy beautiful views from their private deck. The property was excellent! We loved everything about it. One thing to improve upon would just be the wifi as we were never able to connect.

My partner and I relaxed and enjoyed the view off all the hills. The service was amazing, we were made to feel so comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.
