It's a mini hidden paradise gem... Literally! The staff was great and so kind. The food was delicious and all farm fresh! The location was stunning with unique rooms, a pond, incredible gardens, and a very beautiful and massive gem collection. You can tell the owner/caretaker of the property really puts in efforts all around to make it a paradise hidden amongst a city.

The owners were the absolute best. They went above and beyond to make sure our large group was taken care of. They even mailed us some ski clothing we had left behind. The rooms were comfortable and I really appreciated their efforts to help us disconnect and enjoy the space. The location was stunning! We went in January and the hills were beautiful but I could see how it would equally gorgeous in the summer months.

Located in Mönichwald in the Joglland region, Gastwirtschaft Hold features a restaurant serving traditional Styrian cuisine. Guests can relax in sauna, hot tub, and free WiFi access is available. This is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We chose a suite and were surprised by the size of it. It had a coffee maker and a small fridge which were perfect for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. There was a tub but we didn't use it during our stay. There was a nice porch out front where we sat to enjoy the spring sunshine. Breakfast was a feast with items and coffee made to order as well as a large layout of food to chose from in the buffet. We ate dinner in the evening and everything was fresh and made to order. It was so good we were even tempted by dessert. We enjoyed being in a family run establishment which made us feel like welcome guests.

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. The location was beautiful, the hungarian speaking staff was very very kind and helpful, the parking place is in the back (near the beautiful forest slopes) right in front of our balcony. The wellness (with pool and sauna non stop opening) was just under our room; it's the perfect pastime if the weather is not so kind. Food is delicious and you shall never skip the sunday lunch!

Located in Schwarzau am Steinfelde, Gartenlofts auf Gut Guntrams features a garden and terrace. There is also a swimming pond with views of the orchards. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Gartenlofts a couple of times now, and I would say it is an experience that everyone should try at least once! The staff is very friendly, makes you feel very welcome, and you can always count on them. The location is beautiful, and the Gartenlofts are very unique. The whole place has a very calming atmosphere, the other visitors seemed very nice too. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Located in Mönichwald, 44 km from Schlaining Castle, Hotel Schwengerer provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. -Breakfast and dinner were both amazing (local, quality food) -The landscape and the location of the hotel is perfect (great hiking tours, ski opportunities) -Very polite and charming owner and staff

Set in Sankt Kathrein am Hauenstein, 41 km from Pogusch, Gasthof zur Post offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Staff knew English which is an exception in Austria, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Located halfway between Vienna and Graz, Sporthotel am Semmering offers direct access to the ski slopes and hiking trails of the Semmering. Everything was up to highest standards, WONDERFUL cousine (a piece of art), nice staff, great overall. Swimming pool included, very close to ski slopes, perfect view.

Located in Bad Schönau, 27 km from the Avita Thermal Spa, Hotel Geier features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Perfect room and excellent restaurant with local cuisine. Not big - huge meal. Mixed grill meat with salad and local beer. The breakfast was also good - eggs, ham, cheese and nuts and coffee I was ready to drive the whole day.
