Situated in Gmunden and with Wels Exhibition Centre reachable within 45 km, Seehotel im Weyer features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. This hotel has great location, close to city center, right on the lake and it’s also very quiet. The room was spacious and had a balcony as well, that you can use during spring and summer. Breakfast was great with good selection and amazing desserts and sweet pastries. The staff were very friendly and communicative.

We did arrive late and were still able to order proper dinner which we appreciated very much. One of us got a wonderful upgrade; yet we all enjoyed the quietness and beautiful surrounding very much! Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. One of the best stays I had. Staff is super helpful, the room was super comfortable, the view on the lake gorgeous. On top of that, the treatment we had, the spa, the breakfast were all perfect. I would recommend and I'll definitely come back.

Just 1,000 metres from the Toscana Congress Centre and Seeschloss Palace, the Aktivhotel Wildschütz in Salzkammergut was renovated in 2015 and offers quiet rooms with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi and... very good self check in. excellent sauna and steam room with an outside area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the wood, modern architecture mixed with classic mountain hut vibe.
