Located on a hillside, 4 km from Golling an der Salzach, Stallerhof offers modern rooms with wooden furniture. Free schnapps tastings are provided in the on-site distillery. The view is perfect and the location is very convenient. It’s very easy to come and go with a car. Also, the staff is very friendly.

Located in the centre of Kuchl, the garni hotel Wagnermigl is right on the Tauernradweg (bicycle trail) and 20 km south of Salzburg. The garden includes a sun terrace and a children’s playground. I don't know how to describe how wonderful this hotel was. The welcoming feeling was like walking in to your best friend's house for a short stay. The owners were helpful with all of our questions and directed our traveling partners to the best sites to see in Kuchl. I won't reveal the special little touches generously provided by the owners. The breakfast was outstanding. We spent the month of September traveling in Austria and northern Italy staying in many different hotels so you notice the little things in the design of the room that you wish were in each hotel room. The thoughtful design of the room checked off everything on my list of items I like in a hotel room.

Located in the centre of Russbach, Hotel Kerschbaumer is just 400 metres from the cable car into the Dachstein-West Ski Area. It features a sauna and a fossil exhibition. Spacious and comfortable room, great spa area (that is free to use!), lovely staff, superb atmosphere inside and outside of the hotel and for a very good price! You can't go wrong with this choice!

Just 15 km from Salzburg, NEUWIRT - Boutiquehotel & Wirtshaus is located in the spa town of Bad Vigaun, just off the A10 motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional Austrian restaurant. Many thanks to the receptionist girl when we checked out, who made our the staying much lighter, funnier and more homelike! ……The balcony was with the view of the snow caped mountains and church in another side, which was wonderful.

Only a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Abtenau, this hotel and restaurant is right next to the valley station of the Karkogel cable car. Very clean, large rooms. Beautiful views! The food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is dog friendly and has beautiful walks outside. Very friendly staff. A lovely stay!

Set in Annaberg im Lammertal, 40 km from Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Winterstellgut offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, property and sorrounding was very clean and well-kept.
