Located on a hillside, 4 km from Golling an der Salzach, Stallerhof offers modern rooms with wooden furniture. Free schnapps tastings are provided in the on-site distillery. The views were amazing! Monika has been so welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was lovely.

Located in the centre of Kuchl, the garni hotel Wagnermigl is right on the Tauernradweg (bicycle trail) and 20 km south of Salzburg. The garden includes a sun terrace and a children’s playground. I don't know how to describe how wonderful this hotel was. The welcoming feeling was like walking in to your best friend's house for a short stay. The owners were helpful with all of our questions and directed our traveling partners to the best sites to see in Kuchl. I won't reveal the special little touches generously provided by the owners. The breakfast was outstanding. We spent the month of September traveling in Austria and northern Italy staying in many different hotels so you notice the little things in the design of the room that you wish were in each hotel room. The thoughtful design of the room checked off everything on my list of items I like in a hotel room.

Located at the entrance to Bad Vigaun, 15 km from Salzburg, Hotel Langwies features a spa area and a bathing pond. Great hotel with amazing restaurant. High level of service, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect as close to Salzburg, Eagle nest and a lot of other places with astonishing mountains and lakes views. Also, 5 mins from the hotel you can find SPA therme to swim and relax.

Located in the centre of Russbach, Hotel Kerschbaumer is just 400 metres from the cable car into the Dachstein-West Ski Area. It features a sauna and a fossil exhibition. Spacious and comfortable room, great spa area (that is free to use!), lovely staff, superb atmosphere inside and outside of the hotel and for a very good price! You can't go wrong with this choice!

Just 15 km from Salzburg, NEUWIRT - Boutiquehotel & Wirtshaus is located in the spa town of Bad Vigaun, just off the A10 motorway. It offers free Wi-Fi and a traditional Austrian restaurant. The location is amazing!!! Bad Vigaun is an amazing place to stay in and have a great morning walk/jog or workout. The view from the room is breathtaking, you won't want to leave. The hotel design is unique, very elegant and luxurious. We stayed at the junior suite, it is big, has a great balcony to sit in and just enjoy the view. The staff a so helpful and welcoming. I like the close parking spaces just to go through the check-in process, though the regular parking lot is a few steps from the reception. Highly recommended!!

Dating from 1592, this traditional hotel is located in the pedestrian zone of Abtenau, 500 metres from the ski area. The Goldener Stern offers rooms with free WiFi access and free parking. Excellent hotel with excellent location, so cozy, clean & comfortable . Warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who made my trip more interesting with great advices & tips about everything, would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests!!!

Only a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Abtenau, this hotel and restaurant is right next to the valley station of the Karkogel cable car. Very clean, large rooms. Beautiful views! The food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is dog friendly and has beautiful walks outside. Very friendly staff. A lovely stay!
