Great location with a view of the castle right from your room. We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday so they were kind enough to arrange a cake & candle as per my request. Breakfast was also nice.

The staff are very friendly. We only stayed one night but had a great night sleep, the beds are very comfortable. We would definitely come back for longer and can only recommend!

Opened in December 2012, this resort is located at the foot of the Tennengebirge Mountains, 1 km from the ski lift. Bergresort Werfenweng includes a spa area with indoor and outdoor pools. Featuring a bar, spa and wellness centre and views of mountain, Badeschloss is set in Bad Gastein, 700 metres from Bad Gastein Railway Station. This was possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent. They had a Finnish sauna which was actually pretty close to the real thing. A dip in the roof top pool before breakfast is highly recommended!

The hotel is brand new, architecturally perfect, stylish and reeks of old times. It is as if you have returned to the end of the 19th century. Everything is perfectly designed and combined with the modern age. The staff is very kind, very professional, and I would especially single out Anja, Romano and Timo from the reception, Zoran from the Spa center and the younger guy from the restaurant ( during breakfast time). We are definitely coming again in January.

A small family owend hotel, it seems that the whole family is invested in making your stay comfortable and fun. The staff was helpful and kind - from the main desk, to the waitress and the kitchen. The design of the room and the hotel itself was beautiful and updated. The room was as clean as possible. One of the best showers I've had in a hotel. There is a spa area in the hotel that we didn't get to use. Breakfast was excellent. In the evening the lobby becomes an inviting and cool looking bar with great snacks to eat, and fun atmosphere. Location is perfect in middle of town, near restaurants, supermarket, and the cable car. There is a hotel parking.
