Room was much bigger than we expected, exceptionally clean, hotel perfectly located - on the main street, few minutes from sops and restaurants. Owner is very pleasant, she gave us many useful tips. Breakfast was carefully selected, tasty and plentiful. All in all, hotel highly recommended.

The moment you step foot in the cozy 'lobby', you are made to feel right at home. It feels more like visiting a distant relative, than checking into a hotel. We arrived after regular check-in time, and still we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and chatted for half an hour - what a difference to what you are used to. This approach directly set the tone for the rest of the stay, and I have not come across a better combination of privacy and luxury, and such a personal touch. During the whole stay, the hosts were super helpful, friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable, the view is phenomenal and the breakfast is extensive. It was a lovely experience having it served in the room, with a view over Mariazell and the valley. We had some special requests, and they were more than fulfilled, making this a truly memorable weekend. From the hotel, you get to the center of Mariazell within minutes on foot, but getting to the hotel by car is equally easy, making it a great starting point for excursions into the region.

El Gasthof zum Sessellift se encuentra en Mitterbach, a 38 km de Hochschwab, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, estacionamiento privado gratuito, terraza y restaurante. Amazingly helpful personnel - they helped us a lot even with things that were unrelated to the accommodation. Nice and spacious room. Breakfast included, dinner possible in the restaurant.

Cuenta con spa, sauna finlandesa, cabina de infrarrojos, ducha de bienestar, bar de té, zona de relajación y terraza soleada con vistas a Gemeindealpe. The room was beautiful and clean. I appreciate the rich breakfast, including eggs served in different ways. The wellness area with a terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains was also amazing.

El JUFA Hotel Erlaufsee se encuentra a solo 500 metros de la estación de esquí de Bürgeralpe, junto a un centro deportivo y a 2 km del centro de Mariazell. También hay una zona de spa. We spent two nights here in late October. I liked the location, it was quiet and perfect for relaxing after hiking. It was worth ordering the buffet dinner at the hotel in addition to the accommodation. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. We are going to come back for sure.

El Hotel Drei, gestionado por la misma familia durante 5 generaciones, está situado en el centro de Mariazell, a sólo 100 metros de la famosa basílica y a 50 metros del teleférico. I liked everything! The rooms were very clean and nice. The spa was excellent too! Very friendly environment and I will definitely come back. I suggest to everyone to come and stay there :)

El Hotel Himmelreich goza de una ubicación céntrica en Mariazell, a pocos pasos de la basílica, y ofrece taberna al aire libre, restaurante y cabina de infrarrojos. Nice and clean room, probably renovated lately. Hotel is located in the center of the city just above the church. Host is very helpful and offered a garage for bikes (for a 10 EUR fee). Dinner in the hotel restaurant was a decent one.
