Opened in June 2016, Wildauers Haidenhof STAY & SLEEP is located in Lienz in East Tyrol. Constructed in a modern wooden style, it offers a seasonal outdoor pool and a sun terrace. Very clean modern farm style room, with gorgeous mountain view, not far from Lienz center. Great breakfast.

Offering a spa area and a restaurant with a pub garden, Gasthof Goldener Fisch is located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Lienz and right next to the Isel River, one of the last glacier rivers in... We were travelling around the southern Austrian Alps and the hotel is a good choice fir a short 1-day stopover. The hotel is located just 5-10 min walk from the town center. Ample and free car park provided by the hotel. Rooms were ready ahead of our arrival - clean rooms, comfy beds. Pleasant check in-check out experience. Very hospitable staff.

Offering panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites, Familienhotel Moos-Alm is located at 1,000 metres above sea level next to the ski slopes and the upper station of the Schlossbergbahn/Hochstein Cable... My two day stay at Moos-Alm was one of my best hotel experiences ever. The service level was outstanding. I booked half-board and the 5 course dinner was superb. The second day I was looking forward to the dinner all day long. The breakfast also tick all the boxes and even more. The spa/sauna area was very nice and clean. A real treat after a day on the mountain. They even let me keep the room for the day after checkout in the morning. So nice of the staff. I wanted to stay longer and already looking forward coming back again.

And still only a short walk to the heart of the city. Bucolic view of the city and mountains from our balcony! Breakfast was good, what you'd expect. The room was good size and super clean. The family who run it is very nice.

With panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites, the 5-star Dolomitengolf Suites is right next to its own 36-hole golf course in East Tyrol, 10 km from Lienz. Stunning location with views of the Dolomites. The restaurants and breakfasts were delicious with local produce and of a very high standard. Our suite was very spacious with lots of storage, tea kettle, huge bathroom with a very nice bathtub as well as an outside patio with views of the Dolomites. The spa treatments were also very good!

Surrounded by green pastures, Hotel Tschitscher is a 10-minute drive form the city of Lienz. You can find a library and a games room with more than 250 board and card games on site. We are a couple from the UK on a motorcycle trip to Croatia and back. We have stayed in some super places during our four week trip so far but the Hotel Tschitscher is simply the best. We were greeted by the host Deter and straight away it became apparent that nothing was too much trouble. There was a garage for our motorbike (which is always a bonus!) and our room was spot on. Deter explained the history of the house to us (there’s lots of it!) and he was then happy to give us his time to chat about a whole host of things we needed information on. Oh, and there’s an amazing selection of books, games and music available. The place is spotless and the breakfast was extremely healthy and beautifully presented. It was representative of the area and included home made jams and quality products from the area, it was definitely the best we’ve had. There is an honesty bar and a wonderful garden. As this was a booking on the homeward part of our journey it was only for one night but we have already decided to come back to stay here and explore the area further in the future. Just before we were leaving we were fortunate enough to meet Deter’s wife who turned out to be equally as charming as Deter. She spent time showing us around her wonderful garden and we were able to swop interesting bits of information on various garden plants. You will not be surprised to hear that we recommend the place highly!

Hotel Sonne enjoys a quiet location in the Old Town of Lienz. It offers free WiFi access and has a roof terrace with panoramic views of the Dolomites. Beautiful view from the room's balcony. Everything clean, comfortable bed, spacious room. Good breakfast, excellent outdoor activities. A charming little town.

The 3-star Waldhotel Bad Jungbrunn has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Tristach. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Very quite and nice hotel which is located at the foot of mountain. Staffs were nice and helpful. Chef was so kind and food was very delicious:)

Enjoying a quiet location in Tristach, 3.5 km from Lienz, this hotel offers views of the surrounding mountains. Free WiFi is provided in all rooms and free private parking is offered on site. We traveled with our small son, and the playground on the property was a very nice surprise. The food was very tasty. And the location is great if you want to do some hiking or cycling in a more quite part of Austria.
