The condition of the rooms was perfect and very clean. It was cozy and warm. The hotel's owner was very kind and she gave us her hands very positively when we got in trouble with the car. The morning meal was simple but It was enough to fill our stomach. If I have another chance to come here, then I will stay here once again.

Odnowiony w 2014 r. obiekt Seewirt Zauner - contactless check in prowadzony jest przez tę samą rodzinę od 150 lat. The hotel is located in the little main Square. It's beautiful! We got a room with view to the main square in the 2nd floor. It had a little balcony, we loved it! We stayed in the hotel in November (just before the freezing time). The town is "empty" after the last ferry so you will see few people after 6:30 pm so, your options to eat (dinner and breakfast) reduce a lot! This hotel is the one with restaurant available for dinner, many people that were staying in other places come to dinner in this hotel. The food and services were sooo good! The prices (obviously) are not cheap but neither crazy! Also, the breakfast is only for guest so, we saw people coming to and asked for breakfast, I think they didn't had that option in their staying places, consider this as a plus! The town doesn't have many options to eat, the options are very few and you can expect higher prices, prepare yourself with food (from where you are coming) or to pay higher prices. The staff was sooooooo friendly and helpful, they are everything! the same people are the waiters, the cleaning staff, Welcoming staff! all!

The view from the room's balcony of the Hallstättersee was breathtaking! I very much enjoyed having breakfast from the terrace, with a view of the lake. The location is perfect, close to the historic marketplace and right next to the main church. The hotel even has a fully equipped sauna room. I also liked the breakfast buffet very much.
